Supermarkets

Although there is a small shop in Bussac the nearby village of Lisle ( 5 minute drive )  has everything you might need, grocers, butchers, bakers, bank, garage etc.

Less than 15 minutes away just outside Perigueux is the hyper-market Auchan. It is set in a shopping centre with many other stores.

Doctors/Hospital

There will be an information folder at the house telling you where are the nearest post office, local doctors, hospitals etc.

Kitchen

As well as a welcome pack we try to keep stocked with things like cooking oil, herbs, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc this is so that you have everything you need when you first arrive and don’t have to go straight out and do a major shop. Please replace anything that you use so that our next guests have the same benefit.

Babysitting

The owners who live in the old farmhouse are able to offer ( at a separate charge ) a babysitting service, meals on arrival, advice about local restaurants / reservations and arrangements for other activities.
A pick-up, drop-off service to local restaurants is available ( maximum of 6 people ). Prices depending on distance ( less than local taxis )

Cleaning

We do ask all guests to respect the property and leave it in the condition that they found it. We supply all the cleaning materials.
For those that do not want to clean we will arrange for the house to be cleaned for a charge of £50. Please note this does not include washing up and everything should have been put back in its correct place.
We reserve the right to make a charge if the barn has not been left in a suitable condition.
